Questions · 10 entries

Asked at the counter, answered on the sheet.

The questions that come up most often about the counts, the frames and the hand-off. Anything not here can go to the address in the footer.

01 Does a stamped count mean the bag is approved by those airlines?

No. The number on a plate is arithmetic: how many published frames the three sides fit inside. No carrier has seen the shelf, tested the bag or endorsed the count.

02 Which figure is used when a carrier publishes several?

The economy short-haul frame, because that is the cabin most readers of this page fly in. Where a carrier prints a separate box for the personal item, that box is used for the second count.

03 Why does a bag clear one carrier with the same numbers and fail another?

Because frames differ by more than most people expect. Qatar prints a 50 cm length; Turkish prints 55 × 40 × 23; Scoot prints 54 × 38 × 23. A 55 × 40 × 20 cm case clears Turkish and fails both of the others.

04 The bag I want is not on the shelf. Can I still check it?

Yes. Put its three sides into the assessment box on the home page and pick your carrier. The box does the same sorted-side comparison the plates use, and reports the tightest margin rather than a simple yes or no.

05 Are the prices live?

No. Each figure was the Amazon.sg listing price when the sheet was built, in Singapore dollars. Amazon updates prices continuously; the live listing always wins over this page.

06 What do I need to pay here?

Nothing, and no card field exists on this site. The list is assembled in your browser and handed to an Amazon.sg cart, where payment, delivery and returns are handled entirely by Amazon.

07 Do you store the list on a server?

No. It lives in your browser under a local storage key and never leaves the device. Clearing site data removes it; opening the page on another device starts a fresh list.

08 Why are power banks and batteries missing from the kit?

Because the rules around them are tightening faster than a shop page can track, and a wrong answer is worse than no product. Check the carrier's dangerous goods page for watt-hour limits and stowage instructions.

09 Is this an airline or a travel agency?

Neither. maksfs is an independent shop page in Kuala Lumpur. No carrier named on the schedule sponsors it, and no carrier supplies the figures directly — they are read from public baggage pages.

10 How do I get a figure corrected?

Write to the address in the footer with the carrier and the page you read. Corrections are checked against the carrier's own published baggage page before anything on the schedule is changed.

Still stuck on a measurement?

The measuring page walks through the four checks in order, including the two that catch most people: wheels counted inside the number, and the weight measured across both pieces rather than the bag alone.

For a carrier that is not on the schedule, the full frame table shows the eighteen that are, with the month each was read.
